Bill Tipton's map of the June Lake Loop
June Lake Trail Map
The June Lake Loop and the Eastern Sierra around it, from Mount Dana to the Upper Owens. Pinch to zoom, tap a pin, and send any spot to the people you are hiking with.
Map by Bill Tipton, made for the Yosemite Gateway Chalet. For planning: carry a real map and check conditions before you go.
Bill Tipton drew this shaded-relief map for the chalet: every trail, lake and creek from the Dana Plateau to the Upper Owens River. Tap any pin to open that spot.
The red pin is the chalet, at Yost Creek and Highway 158. The Fern Lake trail starts a walk from the back door.
